Mäntæ Terms & Conditions

  1. Introduction & Scope

1.1 Purpose. These Terms (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and Mäntæ (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the Mäntæ website and associated services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1.2 Platform role. Mäntæ helps users find and reserve surplus meals (“Rescue Packs”) from participating food businesses (“Vendors”). We act as a facilitator between Users and Vendors. We do not own, manage, or influence the content of Rescue Packs or the operations of Vendors.

Mantae is a brand owned and operated by MealsBridge, a proprietorship firm registered in India and dedicated to driving innovation in the food and sustainability sectors. All transactions and payments within the app are processed securely under MealsBridge’s registered entity.

  1. Eligibility & Account Registration

2.1 Eligibility. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction, and capable of forming binding agreements.
2.2 Account Creation. Creating an account (“Account”) is required to reserve Rescue Packs. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information, and keep it updated.
2.3 Account Security. You’re responsible for all activity under your account and must keep your password secure. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

  1. How the Platform Works

3.1 Reservation Process.

  1. Vendors list available “Rescue Packs.”
  2. Users browse listings (location-based, if permitted).
  3. Users pay and reserve a Rescue Pack.
  4. Users collect their Rescue Pack from the Vendor during a specified pick-up window.

3.2 Cancellation. Reservations may be cancelled by you, the Vendor, or us. You may cancel until collection or until the end of the pick-up window. Vendors may cancel if stock runs out; you’ll be notified and refunded.

  1. User Obligations

You agree:

  • Not to disrupt or misuse the Platform (e.g., scraping, automated tools, or spamming).
  • Not to reverse-engineer, copy, modify, or distribute the Platform or its software.
  • To comply with all applicable laws and not use the Platform for unauthorized commercial purposes.
  1. Vendor Obligations

When using the Platform, Vendors agree to:

  • Provide accurate pick-up instructions, including ingredients, allergens, and pick-up times.
  • Honor confirmed reservations or inform us promptly in case of cancellation.
  1. Payments & Refunds
  • Payments are processed via our payment gateway and confirmation is provided instantly.
  • If a Vendor cancels your Reservation, you will receive a full refund promptly.
  • You must confirm receipt at pick-up via the Platform as required.
  1. Content Ownership & Feedback

7.1 Intellectual Property. All Platform content—including software, designs, logos, and trademarks—remains our property. You may not copy or distribute it without our permission.

7.2 Feedback. Any ideas or suggestions you share are voluntarily provided, and Mäntæ may use them without restriction or credit.

  1. Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability & Indemnity

8.1 Disclaimers. Mäntæ offers the Platform “as is” and does not guarantee uninterrupted service or Vendor content accuracy.
8.2 Limitation of Liability. We’re not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Platform or issues relating to Rescue Packs.
8.3 Indemnity. You agree to defend and hold harmless Mäntæ, its affiliates, and staff from claims arising out of your use of the Platform or breach of these Terms.

  1. Modifications to Terms

We may change these Terms at any time. We’ll post updates on the Platform and notify account holders. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms. If you disagree, you may delete your Account.

  1. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Disputes that can’t be resolved informally may be handled via arbitration or small claims court as permitted.
